How To Begin The Process
Family Stability and Home Linkage Programs
Step 1: Register online at www.tvhoc.org to attend an Orientation Session or Contact us at 925-373-3130 to receive a intake packet
Step 2: You will meet privately with a counselor to assess your needs and develop a plan outlining the steps to meet those needs.
- Enroll in Family Stability
- Financial Education Class
- Credit and Budget Assessment
- Enroll in Home Linkage
Step 3: Once you have completed steps 1-2, and if you are deemed mortgage ready, we will enroll you to our 8-hour Homeownership Workshop.
Step 4: We will assist you in reviewing documents and will provide education and counseling throughout your entire home purchase process.
Step 5: Home Purchase
Step 6: Enroll in Post-Purchase Program: 30-days following closing, follow up appointment with a counselor to establish a new spending plan and review loan doucments.
