The Center’s staff and Board of Directors share an unwavering commitment to the local community.  Staff and Board Members live and work in the Tri-Valley and represent a variety of backgrounds from local agencies, local business people, and representatives of the housing industry. They are deeply invested in the community and use their unique skills to guide the Center and its many programs.

 Center Staff is…

  • HUD certified through continuing education courses, knowledgeable in federal, state and local laws and regulations
  • Volunteers are trained to this same standard by Center staff in compliance with federal and state statutes pertaining to confidentiality of financial information.

  • The local resource for people to make good and informed housing choices in the Tri-Valley
  • Supported by the cities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon and the Town of Danville

  • Providing services free of charge to the consumer
  • A HUD approved housing counseling agency certified* by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide the following counseling services:

                   –  Pre-purchase
                   –  Financial Management/Budgeting
                   –  Mortgage Delinquency/Default Resolution Services
                   –  Homebuyer Education
                   –  Resolving/Preventing Mortgage Delinquency Education
                   –  Non-Delinquency Post-Purchase Education

(*HUD certification requires a rigorous application and review process of an organization’s capacity to ensure staff has the necessary experience, knowledge and expertise to provide information in a confidential manner)
